Soient G un groupe profini, V un sous-groupe ouvert, Y un V-module, discret topologique. Le module induit M ^G_V (Y) a été define au chapitre 1, § 2, n^o5. Le module co-induit ^V_G M(Y) est défini par :

$${}_G^VM(Y) = \underline{\underline Z} (G) \otimes {}_{\underline{\underline Z} (V)}Y.$$
