Abstract

With the advantages of SMT, one might be tempted to wonder why the SMT assembly has not seen wider use by now and why everyone has not rushed out to acquire SMT assembly capabilities and equipment. One of the reasons for the reticence is that few people have developed and implemented any kind of a workable, comprehensive strategy for testing SMT assemblies!
