Abstract

The parasites of Calanus are both varied and interesting although not all of them have been studied in detail. Some of them are external, some internal, either in the gut or in the body cavity. Some are found all the year round, others are more or less restricted to summer or winter. Many of the parasites found in Calanus are found also in other copepods and occasionally in other animals.
