This book has discussed the measurement of poverty, inequality and social welfare in Australia in recent times. In this final chapter the conclusions of the study are drawn together and discussed. Some important unresolved problems are outlined. The discussion leads to the final section which suggests how further work might proceed. The chapter commences with a review of the conclusions of each of the preceding chapters in turn.
