Abstract
This chapter will describe in detail the technique of cervical laminectomy. Syringomyelia is used as an example to that end; and, as a result, little will be said of syringomyelia as a disease entity. The procedure illustrated in this chapter is a total laminectomy of C2 through C5 with a partial laminectomy of C6. Obviously, the technique of cervical laminectomy is applicable to many different disease processes.
