Perturbation of Transonic Flow with Shocks
Perturbation analysis is used to study transonic flows including nonlinear inviscid compressibility effects as in transonic small-disturbance theory, as well as perturbations of boundary conditions and flow parameters (e.g. Mach number M ∞, angle of attack α, thickness ratio τ, wing aspect ratio AR, sweep angle Λ, reduced frequency ω, tunnel height H, etc.).
