Zusammenfassung

Die neuere klinische Erfahrung hat gelehrt, daß hohe, in Dauerinfusion angewandte Nitratdosen sowohl zur Schmerzbeseitigung als auch zur Vorbeugung myokardialer Ischämie-Episoden bei Patienten mit häufigen Anfällen von Ruhe-Angina pectoris hochwirksam sind (1–2). Die intravenöse Gabe eignet sich indes nicht zur Langzeittherapie, und daher werden andere Applikationsformen (sublingual, oral oder perkutan) generell zur Dauertherapie von ambulanten Patienten verwendet.
