Abstract

Comprehensive reviews of the myocardial circulation’s structure and dynamic function have been provided by Berne [1], Feigl [2], Schaper [3], Marcus [4], Klocke [5], Hoffman [6], and others. In this chapter, we wish to highlight the important myocardial perfusion factors which must be considered in any antegrade or retrograde treatment of myocardial ischemia.
