Abstract
In these notes we revisit with modifications and generalizations several problems and solutions from Aczél (1969), Aczél, Eichhorn (2000), Eichhorn (1978, 1986). The major part of these problems arose in the context of homogeneous production functions, in particular, Cobb-Douglas and CES functions. Their solutions use Euler’s theorem for homogeneous functions and the Bernoulli-L’Hospital rule. Finally we discuss several generalizations — some new — of homogeneous functions with aid of functional equations.
