Zusammenfassung

Die bisher vorliegenden Untersuchungen über die biologischen Funktionen des Mangans vermitteln zwei Haupteindrücke:

  1. 1.

    Mangan gehört zu den Elementen mit höchstem biologischem Wirkungsgrad, und

  2. 2.

    seine physiologischen Aufgaben sowie deren biochemischer Ablauf sind zum großen Teile ungeklärt.
