Zusammenfassung

Definition: Die Mundhöhle reicht von der Schleimhautgrenze der Lippe bis zum Übergang vom harten zum weichen Gaumen (obere Begrenzung) sowie bis zur Linie der Papillae vallatae. Der Oropharynx beinhaltet den Zungengrund, die Tonsillen und die Rachenhinterwand. Die Epiglottis gehört nach der neuesten UICC-Einteilung zur Supraglottis.
