Zusammenfassung

Innovation und technischer Wandel sind — nach anfänglichen AkzeptanzproblemenI - längst zu Zentralthemen der ökonomischen Forschung und insbesondere der modernen Industrieökonomik geworden. In unserem Beitrag möchten wir einige politikrelevante Ergebnisse dieser Forschungsarbeiten aus den letzten Jahren zusammenfassen, Forschungslücken identifizieren, und soweit wie möglich hnplikationen für die Politikgestaltung ableiten. Bei den von uns herangezogenen theoretischen Ergebnissen orientieren wir uns dabei häufig (aber keinesfalls ausschließlich) an spieltheoretisch fundierten Modellen, die von uns dargestellten empirischen Ergebnisse sind zumeist ökonometrische Studien mit Unternehmen oder Industrien als Beobachtungseinheit.
