Zusammenfassung
Das erste Kapitel behandelt hauptsächlich die Bildung und den Stoffwechsel der Erythrozyten sowie einige allgemeine Aspekte zum Thema Anämie. Da die Erythrozyten nach zahlreichen Zellteilungen aus denselben Stammzellen entstehen, aus welchen auch alle anderen Blutzellen hervorgehen, ist es jedoch wichtig, zunächst einige generelle Gesichtspunkte der Blutzellbildung zu besprechen.
