Zusammenfassung

Der thrombotische Verschluß der infrarenalen Bauchaorta wird im medizinischen Sprachgebrauch allgemein als LERICHE-SYNDROM bezeichnet (26). Erstbeschreiber dieser Erkrankung war jedoch nicht der von 1879–1955 lebende französische Chirurg René Leriche, sondern Graham bereits im Jahre 1814.
