Die Torsionsdystonie. Der Hemiballismus

Zusammenfassung

Die Torsionsdystonie wurde zuerst von Schwalbe (1908) als „tonische Krampfform mit hysterischen Symptomen“ bei 3 Geschwistern beschrieben, von Ziehen (1910) als „tonische Torsionsneurose“, 1911 von Oppenheim als „Dysbasia lordotica progressiva“ oder als „Dystonia musculorum deformans“ bezeichnet. Mendel schlug dafür den Ausdruck „Torsionsdystonie“ vor, der sich allgemein eingebürgert hat, doch werden daneben in der Literatur noch viel die Bezeichnungen Torsionsspasmus, Tortipelvis, Dystonia lordotica progressiva, Ziehen-Oppenheimsche Krankheit gebraucht.
