Zusammenfassung
Glucose 6-phosphate (G 6-P) dehydrogenase, also known as Zwischenferment, catalyses the oxidation of G 6-P to the corresponding lactone8. Subsequent hydrolysis of 6-phospho-δ-gluconolactone to 6-phosphogluconate is catalysed by lactonase9.
