Zusammenfassung

Die Tumoren entstehen durch Proliferation von Anteilen fetalen Chorions, der Differenzierungsgrad spannt sich von benigne bis hoch maligne. GTE sind durch eine ausgeprägte Chemosensitivität gekennzeichnet und gelten — zusammen mit den Hodentumoren und den akuten Leuk?mien — als die malignen Erkrankungen, die durch Chemotherapie heilbar sind.
