Zusammenfassung

Anatomische Störungen der Entwicklung der Geschlechtswege gehören zu den Differenzierungsfehlbildungen. Aufgrund der engen Beziehung zum Urogenitalsystem sind sie sehr oft mit Entwicklungsstörungen des ableitenden Harnsystems kombiniert. Eine Korrelation zu Chromosomenanomalien besteht nicht. Zum Verständnis ihrer Entstehung sind Kenntnisse der embryologischen Entwicklung essenziell.
