Zusammenfassung

Die Möglichkeit, den Eintritt einer Schwangerschaft zeitlich zu bestimmen bzw. die Konzeptionsmöglichkeit zu regulieren, ist sicherlich eine der wesentlichsten gesellschaftlichen Entwicklungen des 20. Jahrhunderts gewesen. Kaum eine andere Entwicklung wird gesellschaftliche Strukturen und soziale Verhaltensweisen mehr beeinflusst haben.
