Zusammenfassung
Ein Chemical Peeling bewirkt die Schälung von Teilen der Epidermis und ggf. Dermis mit dem Ziel, regenerative Prozesse in der Haut („Hauterneuerung“) zu induzieren. Sehr oberflächliche und oberflächliche Peelings zählen zu den vergleichsweise leicht zu erlernenden und durchzuführenden dermatokosmetischen Verfahren, die bei Erfahrung und fachgerechter Durchführung recht sicher angewendet werden können, während tiefe, aber auch bereits mitteltiefe Peelings ein deutlich höheres Risiko für das Auftreten unerwünschter Wirkungen aufweisen.
