Abstract
The two-dimensional eddy current problem is formulated in terms of an electric vector potential function. The resulting Helmholtz equation is transformed into a Fredholm Integral equation which involves the unknown vector potential and its normal derivative at the boundary. A set of simultaneous equations is found which approximates the integral. Results are compared to a finite element solution for a sample problem.
