Abstract

The association of spinal cord tumor and high pressure hydrocephalus has been described in more than 50 cases, and attributed to the high protein content of the CSF that interferes with its absorption. Normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), however, was reported in association with spinal tumor in only 5 patients. Two additional cases are reported.
