Zusammenfassung
Im Verlauf des Symposiums „Angiotensin and the Heart“ wurde ein Überblick über den experimentellen und klinisch-pharmakologischen Nachweis der Existenz eines myokardialen Renin-Angiotensin-Systems (RAS) gegeben. Es besteht heute kein Zweifel mehr, daß neben dem humoralen RAS ein Gewebs-RAS existiert, das eine wichtige Rolle bei der Kreislaufregulation durch das Herz und die Gefäße spielt (3, 8).
