Zusammenfassung

Seit 1982 führt die AIDS-Arbeitsgruppe am Robert Koch Institut des Bundesgesundheitsamtes ein zentrales AIDS-Fallregister, in das aus anonymisierten und freiwilligen Arztberichten (auf besonderen Durchschreibe-Formularen) ausschließlich Erkrankungs- und Todesfälle an AIDS aufgenommen werden, die der jeweils gültigen CDC-Falldefinition entsprechen (siehe Anhang).
