Labordiagnostik der HIV-Infektion

Zusammenfassung

Die Diagnose einer HIV-Infektion wird unabhängig vom klinischen Verdacht ausschließlich durch labordiagnostische Untersuchungen gestellt und beruht auf der Tatsache, daß HIV-Infizierte Antikörper gegen die viralen Strukturproteine und viralen Enzyme bilden. Serologische Parameter dienen dabei:

  1. 1.

    dem Nachweis einer HIV-Infektion perse

  2. 2.

    der Prognostizierung des Krankheitsverlaufs nach erwiesener HIV-Infektion.
