Abstract

One year kidney graft survival in living related combinations with high MLC (stimulation index above 30) and one haplo-identity is not significantly different from cadaver kidney graft survival in patients with previous random transfusions. In 1980 SALVATIERRA et al. (1) reported the use of donor-specific transfusions in patients with high stimulation indices and haploidentity. This report will review our own experience with 44 patients who entered into this study.
