Zusammenfassung

Beim pankreatektomierten Hund führen sowohl die Autotransplantation von Pankreasfragmenten wie des Pankreasschwanzes zu einer Normalisierung des Nüchternblutzuckerspiegels, doch ist die Glucosebelastbarkeit reduziert (1, 2, 3, 4). Dies ist wahrscheinlich auf die reduzierte Inselzahl in den Transplantaten zurückzuführen. In Anbetracht dieses „prädiabetischen Zustandes“ der Transplantatempfänger war es von Interesse, die Langzeitfunktion der Inseln zu untersuchen.
