Abstract
Venous thrombosis is not a common topic discussed in interventional neuroradiology; however,we have referred to it several times in the various chapters of this volume as a mechanism suspected or confirmed to be responsible for various episodes in the natural history of vein of Galen aneurysmal malformation (VGAM), pial arteriovenous malformation (AVM), dural arteriovenous shunt (DAVS) and even maxillo-facial AVM.
