Zusammenfassung

Das primäre Harnröhrenkarzinom ist eine seltene Erkrankung. Entsprechend den Daten von Rogers und Burns (1969) wird es bei weniger als 1 % aller Genitaltumoren der Frau gefunden. Erstaunlich ist, daß trotz der im Vergleich zum Mann kurzen weiblichen Harnröhre Frauen häufiger (im Verhältnis 3:1) an diesem Karzinom erkranken — ganz im Gegensatz zu allen anderen Tumoren des Harntrakts.
