Abstract
In the last few years the mechanism of emission of the radiation produced by relativistic channeled particles has been studied with a great interest, in particular for the production of intense X and gamma ray sources (1–5): transverse motion of a charge moving in a planar channel of a crystal can produce radiation that, due to the relativistic Doppler effect, lies in the X- or gamma-ray region.
