Zusammenfassung

Mit EDTA antikoaguliertes Blut wird zunächst bei niedriger g-Zahl zentrifugiert und das überstehende plättchenreiche Plasma (PRP) von den Erythrozyten getrennt. Das PRP wird dann bei höherer g-Zahl erneut zentrifugiert, um die Thrombozyten zu sedimentieren. Wiederholtes Abnehmen des Überstandes, Resuspendieren der Thrombozyten in isotonischer Kochsalzlösung (NaCl) und erneutes Zentrifugieren, („Waschen der Thrombozyten”) bewirken eine fast vollständige Entfernung der Plasmabestandteile aus der Suspension.
