Offene Verletzungen des Herzens

Zusammenfassung

Bei penetrierenden Herzverletzungen tritt der Tod in 62 bis 84% vor der Spitalaufnahme ein [488, 501, 503]. Kommt ein solcher Patient jedoch noch lebend in Spitalbehandlung, dann ist bei optimaler Betreuung die weitere Prognose überraschend gut. Dies ist vor allem bei Stichverletzungen der Fall. Von 52 Patienten, über die Vikari 1976 berichtete [506], haben sogar 98% überlebt, während andere neuere Publikationen ein Überleben zwischen 80 und 90% angeben. Bei Schußverletzungen beträgt die Überlebenschance unter optimalen Bedingungen noch ca. 60% [471, 483, 491, 503].
