Zusammenfassung

Wie in den großen Lehrbüchern werden auch in diesem Buch die eindrucksvollen, schweren Herzverletzungen nach stumpfer Gewalt beschrieben: Herzrupturen, traumatische Septumdefekte, Herzklappenläsionen und Verletzungen der Koronararterien. Dies darf jedoch nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, daß die klinische Bedeutung solcher Verletzungen recht gering ist. Die wenigen Fälle, die für eine Behandlung in Frage kommen, stellen ausgesprochene Raritäten dar.
