Zusammenfassung

Geschlossene Verletzungen der großen Luftwege sind im klinischen Krankengut selten und werden auch auf großen unfallchirurgischen Abteilungen nur gelegentlich beobachtet. Ihre Erkennung und frühe Behandlung ist entweder lebensrettend oder bewahrt den Patienten vor der Totalatelektase einer Lunge beim Bronchusabriß oder vor den schweren infektiösen Komplikationen einer Bronchusstenose.
