Zusammenfassung
Schmerz ist eine unangenehme sensorische und emotionale Erfahrung, durch Gewebsschädigung ausgelöst oder entsprechend einer solchen beschrieben. Der Begriff Schmerz ist immer subjektiv geprägt. Jedes Individuum lernt im frühen Leben den Gebrauch dieses Begriffes durch eigene Erfahrung im Umgang mit Verletzungen. Biologisch entstehen schmerzhafte Reize bei einer Gewebsverletzung. Entsprechend wird die Erfahrung Schmerz an eine wirkliche oder mögliche Gewebsverletzung geknüpft.
