Zusammenfassung

Im Bereich des mediastinums lassen sich verschiedenste Raumforderungen nachweisen, die in etwa 60% durch eine Neoplasie bedingt sind. In etwa 30% handelt es sich um eines malignen Mediastinaltumor. Der Anteil der malignen Tumoren Liegt bei Patienten, bei denen ein Tumor zufälling entdeckt wurde, nur bei 10%, bei den symptomatischen Patienten jedoch bei etwa 50% [39]. Die häufigsten Raumforderungen sind in Tabelle 1 zusammengestellt [39].
