Zusammenfassung
Im Kindesalter sind Thrombosen selten. Sie können in Arterien und Venen auftreten. Wichtige Risikofaktoren sind Dauerverweilkatheter oder ein angeborener bzw. erworbener Mangel an antithrombotisch wirksamen Proteinen. Die angeborenen Inhibitorstörungen bleiben zeitlebens bestehen und führen meist erst bei einem zusätzlich erworbenen Risikofaktor zur Thrombose. Die meisten akzidentell entstandenen Thrombosen haben als Hintergrund eine angeborene Disposition.
