Zusammenfassung
Die neoklassische Wachstumstheorie hat sich ziemlich von Anfang an der hartnäckigen Opposition einer kleinen Gruppe von Nationalökonomen gegenüber gesehen, die geistig und meist auch örtlich um Joan Robinson in Cambridge/England angesiedelt war.1) Man wird sich zunächst wundern, warum gerade diese Wachstumstheorie auf solche Widerstände stoßen sollte und nicht die übrigen hier dargestellten Theorien, die doch ebenfalls sehr stark und in vieler Hinsicht viel stärker als die neoklassische Wachstumstheorie von der Wirklichkeit abstrahieren. Doch bevor wir hierauf eingehen, sind einige methodologische Vorbemerkungen am Platz.
