Allergic Respiratory Responses to Fungi

Inhalation exposure to fungal spores produces a series of possible adverse responses, ranging from different hypersensitivity reactions to events resulting from exposure to products emitted from the growing fungus, including mycotoxins. Any evaluation of respiratory consequences from exposure to fungi must include consideration of these different sources.
