Skin Tests for Immediate Hypersensitivity

Abstract

Immediate contact reactions comprise both allergic and non-allergic reactions. In mild reactions, only redness can be seen. In more severe reactions, urticaria on the contact site or eczematous dermatitis are the most common signs. Itching, burning and tingling are the usual symptoms reported by patients.
