Zusammenfassung

Während für das ternäre System Uranoxid-Siliciumoxid-Sauerstoff noch kein Phasendiagramm publiziert worden ist, ist ein solches für das quasibinäre System UO2-SiO2 bekannt. Charakteristisch für das System UO2-SiO2 ist das Auftreten zweier nicht mischbarer flüssiger Phasen in der Schmelze, von denen eine Phase aus einer ≈ Mol-% UO2 enthaltenden Quarzschmelze besteht.
