Zusammenfassung

Vor allem durch Untersuchungen von Dihlmann (1974) wurden die pathogenetischen Zusammenhänge von klinischen und röntgenologischen Veränderungen im epi- und apophysären Ansatzbereich von Sehnen und Bändern dargestellt und in ein klares terminologisches Konzept gefügt (Fibroostose, Fibroostitis). Insertionserkrankungen werden auch als Enthesiopathien bezeichnet.
