Zusammenfassung

Die sensorische Integration ist ein komplexes Phänomen von Wechselbeziehungen zwischen den Prozessen des Nervensystems, sensomotorischem Verhalten und mentalen Erfahrungen. Diese komplexen Wechselbeziehungen kann man beispielsweise bei einem normal entwickelten Mädchen, nennen wir es Allison, beobachten.

Es bedarf keines tiefgründigen philosophischen Verständnisses, um zu begreifen, daß es einen Zusammenhang gibt zwischen dem, was ein Mensch tut und zu sein glaubt, und dem, was andere von ihm erwarten und über ihn denken.
