Zusammenfassung

Die arthroskopische Naht von Rupturen der Rotatorenmanschette hat bisher relativ wenig Verbreitung gefunden. Ursachen dafür sind einerseits die technisch bedingten Schwierigkeiten der Nahtrekonstruktion, andererseits sind die Vorteile des kleineren Zugangs wegen der oft notwendigen Ruhigstellung in der postoperativen Rehabilitation begrenzt. Der Vorteil einer geringeren Deltoideusaffektion nach geschlossenem Vorgehen, der eine problemlosere Rehabilitation ermöglicht, relativiert sich bei einer ohnehin notwendigen Ruhigstellung des Schultergelenkes.
