Abstract
In this chapter the theoretical models of a rigid body under constrained planar motion will be derived for the following simple applications:
-
Rigid body under pure translational motion.
-
Rack-and-pinion mechanism.
-
Mechanical rotor.
-
Planar pendulum of a variable length.
-
Special wheel suspension.
-
Vertical vehicle model.
-
Airplane under an active constraint.
