Zusammenfassung
Traditionell wird Reinraumtechnik als Filter- und Kontrolltechnik für Partikel verstanden und gehandhabt. Sowohl in der Mikroelektronik-Produktion als auch in der Fertigung von Festplatten ist jedoch in den letzten fünf Jahren ein Trend zu beobachten, auch molekulare Verunreinigungen der Reinraumluft stärker als in der Vergangenheit zu kontrollieren und mit Spezifikationen zu belegen. Damit folgt die Spezifikation der Reinraumluft einem Trend, der bei Prozesschemikalien und Reinstwasser schon lange besteht, nämlich immer detaillierter chemische Spurenverunreinigungen zu erfassen und zu charakterisieren und eine für den jeweiligen Verwendungszweck charakteristische Spezifikation zu erstellen. Die Schädigungen durch molekulare Verunreinigungen sind an sich nicht neu, sie sind in den letzten Jahren nur in den Vordergrund gerückt; ein Trend, der sich vermutlich auch in den anderen Anwendungen der Reinraumtechnik, etwa derFlachbildschirmherstellung oder der Pharmafertigung, zeigen wird.
