Zusammenfassung
Hauptursache für glomeruläre Nierenerkrankungen sind Immunprozesse. Häufig geht eine unspezifische Infektionserkrankung v.a. der oberen Atemwege voraus. Die Begriffe Glomerulopathie und Glomerulonephritis werden häufig synonym verwendet. Bei primären Glomerulonephritiden handelt es sich um eigenständige Erkrankungen der Glomeruli. Als sekundäre Glomerulopathien bezeichnet man die Manifestation von Systemerkrankungen an den Glomeruli.
Die Einteilung der glomerulären Erkrankungen erfolgt zuerst klinisch (klinische Zeichen in Übersicht 1, Syndrome in Übersicht 2).
