Zusammenfassung

Viele Nierenerkrankungen sind chronischer Natur. Die frühzeitige Erkennung ist besonders wichtig, da mit prophylaktischen Maßnahmen die Progredienz des Funktionsverlustes gemindert werden kann. Eine Zuordnimg der vorliegenden Nierenerkrankung gelingt oft mit nur wenigen, einfachen Untersuchungen: Anamnese, körperlicher Untersuchungsbefund, Harnsediment und Nieren-sonographie.
