Seit Einführung des Operationsmikroskopes im Jahre 1964 durch Jacobson, Smith, Michon und Kurze sind wir in der Lage, die peripheren und Hirnnerven in feinere anatomische Einheiten, nämlich in Faszikel oder Faszikelgruppen zu präparieren.
