Zusammenfassung
In diesem Abschnitt werden einfache Neuronen-Netzwerke beschrieben, wie sie in den verschiedenen Abschnitten des Gehirns immer wieder vorkommen. Diese neuronalen Grundschaltungen dienen beispielsweise dazu, schwache Signale zu verstärken, zu starke Aktivität zu dämpfen, Kontraste zu betonen, Rhythmen in Gang zu halten oder über eine Verstellung der Verstärkung den optimalen Arbeitsbereich eines Neuronenverbandes einzuhalten. Diese Neuronen-Netzwerke gleichen integrierten Bausteinen in der Elektronik, also vorfabrizierten Schaltungen, die für häufig wiederkehrende Aufgaben in den verschiedensten elektronischen Geräten eingesetzt werden können.
